San Remo

Interior design by Elizabeth Godar. The custom cabinetry was meant to have a “free standing” identity, tailored to the dimensions of the space, but with their own individual technical language concealing functionality.

Escargot

Original concept and design by Gilda Hariri for Atelier de Troupe as part of their Dérive D’Été collection. The lamp was developed with the aim to achieve a sculptural layered form from a single sheet of material while keeping the lamp housing minimal in the manner of a skeletal frame.

Eclipse

Original concept by Gabriel Abraham from Atelier de Troupe as part of their Dérive D’Été collection. The chair and table illustrate the interaction of ellipses in line and solid form approaching each other as they do in the event of an eclipse.

Angle

Original concept and design by Anshika Lal for Atelier de Troupe. The sconce was developed from the exercise of volume subtraction from a solid square, allowing this operation to determine the functional surfaces such as the light reflector and lamp housing. Cast as a single aluminum shade and anodized to achieve a charred patina.

Kyoto

Original concept and design by Trevor Cheney for Atelier de Troupe. The set of sconces were the studio’s first pieces to explore sand casting as a means of production. The two part, pill shaped casing is inspired by Japanese stone lanterns, featuring a window of soft light similar to a candle lantern.
